Services for Bea Archer, 73, of Baytown, Texas, were held Friday, April 12, 2019, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. She passed away at Houston Methodist Hospital in Baytown on April 6, 2019.

She was born on Aug. 10, 1945, in the Walton Community to Thomas Richard Womble and Alta Oleta Wilson. She grew up in Walton and graduated from Athens High School in 1965.

She was a retail business owner (Shellito’s in Gun Barrel City) and raised quarter horses for many years.  

She also enjoyed reading, collecting antiques and old coin and had a love for the Native American Culture.

She is survived by daughters, Sheila and Dean Turn-bow and Kristin and John Howell; grandchildren, Madison Howell and Logan Howell; brother, Altos and Dean Womble, and Eldon and Allie Womble; and sister, Barbara and Charles Hill.

She is preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Alta Womble; brothers, Dellos Womble and Gene Womble; and husbands J. Marvin ter Kuile, Lee Shellito, and Jim Archer.

Interment was at Chinquapin Cemetery in Van Zandt County.
