Carol Heuman

Carol Ann Heuman died on Oct. 23, 2019, after a two-and-one-half year struggle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born June 27, 1950, to Andrew and Minnie (Fritcher) Heuman.

She graduated from Pilot Point High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Education Degree from Texas Woman’s University where she played on the school’s basketball team.

She then earned a Master of Education Degree from North Texas State University (now University of North Texas).

She retired two years ago after working 43 years in the public school system coaching basketball and volleyball.

She started the girls’ softball program at Wills Point Independent School System. For the last 10 years, she has been teaching physical education for the Intermediate School at Wills Point.

She is survived by one sister, Martha Rue and husband, Ted, of Sanger; two brothers, Joseph Heuman and wife, Betty, of Bedford and Bob Heuman of Pilot Point; 10 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceasing her were her parents; two sisters, Marie Hejney and Cathy Reznik; and one brother, George Heuman.
