Sharon passed away on February 28, 2024, in Frankston. She was born on January 25, 1940, in Kilgore to Alvey Gray and Hazel Jenkins Gray. Sharon grew up in Abilene and Dallas. She moved to the Canton area in 1975 where she was active in the Little Hope, Oak Grove Baptist church and later at Grace Bible Fellowship Baptist Church. She was always one to visit and check on shut-ins and those living in the nursing home. Serving the Lord by helping and visiting people brought her joy. Sharon enjoyed golfing for many years. She was an artist and loved painting and giving her painting as gifts. Many people have received and displayed her works to this day. Sharon enjoyed designing and painting the artwork for her son in-law’s books.

She deeply loved her family, and the best days were days spent with family. Sharon was a bright light in the lives of all that knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed but live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved her.
