April 29-30: The Wills Point FFA will host a plant sale at the Wills Point High School greenhouse from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. April 29 and from 8 a.m. – noon April 30. Items for sale will include hanging baskets, gerbers, begonias, geraniums, sweet potato vines and tomatoes.

May 7: The City of Terrell and The Terrell Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Taco Festival on May 7 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. in downtown Terrell. Enjoy the amazing tastes of Terrell Restaurants and Taquerias. Activities will include amazing Tacos...of course, entertainment, food and arts/craft vendors, a Kids Zone, Best Taco Contest, Piñata Contest and much more!

May 9: The Wills Point ISD Board of Trustees meets on the second Monday of each month beginning at 6 p.m. at the WPISD Administration Building located at 338 W.N. Commerce St. The meetings include an opportunity for members of the community to address the board, monthly reports and action items related to the WPISD’s monthly business.

May 10: The Wills Point City Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 6 p.m. at the Wills Point City Hall offices (located at 518 Houston Street). The meetings include an opportunity for members of the community to address the council, monthly reports from department heads and action items related to the city’s monthly business.

June 11: The Wills Point Police Department will host its annual Back the Blue Event at Jack Lester Park. Events and attractions will include a BBQ competition, K9 demonstrations, silent auction, games and activities for children, a car show and more. There is no cost to attend. Those interested in donating an item for the auction or setting up as a vendor are asked to call 903-873-2588.
