The Special People Christmas Party has been scheduled for Dec. 10 from 2-4:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church located at 600 S. Buffalo St. in Canton. Old Bethel Church to host food drive

Old Bethel Church, located at 103 Van Zandt County Road 2313, will host a canned good drive and live nativity event beginning at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 11.

In a press release church officials stated, “Let each person and family come for ‘A Night in Bethlehem’ to be taxed according to law. Upon entering the city gates, each family shall be taxed one canned good donation.”
