Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) and its member-families are working to help rebuild areas of Texas following recent wildfires that scorched the land, destroyed buildings and displaced livestock.

Those affected by the recent fires are encouraged to apply now for assistance through the TFB West Texas Wildfire Relief Fund.

“We realize the amount of damage these fires caused, and the great amount of work that is needed to help everyone rebuild,” Clayton Conway, Van Zandt County Farm Bureau president, said. “TFB has set up a fund that is collecting monetary donations to help wildfire victims rebuild. If you qualify, I encourage you to apply for assistance today.”

Farmers and ranchers with an unreimbursed agricultural loss from the wildfires may apply.

Applications are available at: https://texasfarmbureau.org/wildfire-relief-fund.

TFB is still accepting monetary donations for the West Texas Wildfire Relief Fund.

Credit card donations may be made via the TFB website at https://texasfarmbureau.org/wildfire-relief-fund.

Checks may be made out to the Texas Farm Bureau Agriculture Research and Education Foundation and mailed to: West Texas Wildfire Relief Fund, P.O. Box 2689, Waco, Texas 76702-2689. Please include “Attention: Chris Daughtery” on donation envelopes.
