& Health Care Center in Terrell.

She was born June 12,1941 to Leon and Pearlie Wilson in Crystal Springs, Mississippi.

Faye met Wesley Sherwood Sr. in 1959 and married him on June 6, 1960, while working as a Bell Telephone operator in Dallas which she continued employment until 1961 upon the birth of her first child, after which she served 64 years as a domestic engineer to the Sherwood family and other beloved neighbors and friends.

Faye cared for her uncle, James Robinson, neighbor Bill Bently, mother-in-law Alice Young, brotherin- law John Sherwood and sister Betty Schell at the end of their lives.

Her work with family, friends and loved ones saw her painting both the interior and exterior of homes, repairing a neighbor’s cistern, installing gutters, doing lawn work, caring for neighbors and family member’s children after school, cooking, cleaning homes, driving anyone who needed it to the doctor, and caring for the domestic needs of her family, neighbors and loved ones; if a need was there, she fulfilled it.

She managed this work often solo while her husband’s work took him all over the world from months to a year at a time over the last 30 years he worked.

She loved spending time with her family, neighbors, and friends. She was a very generous lady .
