International Student Exchange seeking host families

The International Student Exchange (ISE) is needing host families for the upcoming 2022-23 school year.

“We need your help,” said ISE Regional Manager La Juan Dixon. “We are still in need of some good host families for this school year. Our students come from all around the globe. Countries such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Thailand, France, and Denmark. The students will arrive in August to loving host home. Our window to locate families is quickly approaching.

“Each of the students arrive with high GPA’s, English skills, medical insurance and their personal spending money,” continued Dixon. “We welcome families of all shapes and sizes. There is no typical host family; single parents, two parents, parents with or without children. Families of all ethnicities, religion, and orientation are eligible to host.

“If you are unable to host, perhaps you know of a family that would enjoy a cultural experience and a forever family member,” emphasized Dixon. “If you refer a family who is approved and they host a student, ISE will send a thank you referral of $300.

“Please open your heart and home to one of these deserving teens and gain a forever member of your family,” concluded Dixon. “Please ask your family and friends and spread the word for us.”
