Church to host Financial Peace University
Radiant Church in Canton, located at 19830 Interstate 20, has announced that it will be hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University beginning Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
Organizers noted that that the nine-week course, taught by Bill Hullum, will “highlight biblical principles that will help you take control of your personal finances and find new ways to pay off debt, set financial goals, save and give generously.”
The fee to attend is $100, and covers a step-by-step in-depth guidebook and worksheets necessary to complete the course.

The Van Zandt County Pet Project will be presenting a wine and pet adoption event in cooperation with the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake and Cannon Creek Vineyard known as ‘Wags and Wine’ from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.
The event will take place at Cannon Creek Vineyard at 5518 State Highway 198 in Canton.

The City of Terrell, in partnership with The Terrell Chamber of Commerce, will host the first annual Terrell Mural Walk on Sept. 17.
The Mural Walk will be held in historic downtown Terrell from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Participants are invited to enjoy a self-paced tour of the City’s existing historic murals.
