CHS Choir to host Dinner Show Saturday
The Canton High School Choir is set to host their annual Dinner Show fundraiser this Saturday, beginning at 5 p.m. in the Canton High School cafeteria. The theme of the evening is entitled ‘80’s Night’. Attendees will be treated to a meal, a night full of 1980’s themed entertainment, and a special performance from the show’s judges.
“All proceeds go towards our choir program to help us raise money to purchase much needed items, so this is always a big night for our program,” CHS Choir Director Angela Russell noted.
The program is hoping to build on last year’s event, which sold out, marking a large success for the school and program. Tickets for the event are available to purchase through any Canton High School choir student or by calling (903) 567-6561 and asking for Angela Russell. Ticket cost is slated at $17, unless purchasing four or more, in which they are prorated $15.
Event organizers warn that limited seats and ticket sales remain, so they urge any interested guests to purchase tickets as soon as possible. Once the show is sold out, those interested will be placed on a waiting list, with no guarantee of securing a spot.
“We urge everyone to come out and support our choir program with a night full of food, fun, and great music,” said Russell.
