Services for Claudette Anderson were held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Crossroads Church, 1930 S. Trade Days Blvd., Canton with Pastor Mark Robinson officiating. She was laid to rest at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation took place one hour prior to the funeral service.

Claudette Stephens Anderson was born on December 10, 1942, in Crowell, Texas. During her childhood, her family relocated several times with the Texas Highway Patrol before settling in Richardson where she graduated from high school in 1961.

She attended Kilgore College and was a proud member of the Kilgore Rangerettes. She and her husband, Dan Anderson, later moved to Colfax in 1980, where they raised their two children.

Claudette was a longtime member of Van United Methodist Church and the Canton Lions Club. She owned Coldwell Banker Anderson Realtors in Canton for more than 25 years and was a dedicated member of her community, serving on the Canton Texas Chamber of Commerce and the board of directors at First National Bank of Canton.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Doug Hardwick of Canton; her son and daughterin- law, B.J. and Stacey Anderson of Colfax; and her grandchildren, Brandon Hardwick, Katie Hardwick, Justus Anderson, and Gage Anderson.

Claudette passed away at the age of 83 on December 10, 2025, in Canton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dan Anderson (2008), and her parents, Pat and Faye Stephens.

Memorials may be made to the Canton Lions Club. Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Hardwick, Justus Anderson, Gage Anderson, Toby Mitchell, Reisor Pickett, and John Pickett.
