June 13, 1960 – February 16, 2026

David Keith Steward of Canton passed away on February 16, 2026. Keith was known for his love of family, unwavering faith, remarkable craftsmanship, and enduring kindness.

Keith leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Laurie; son, Josh Steward and wife, Christina; daughter, Kadie Brown and husband, Chris; sister, Kim Heitman; grandchildren: Rynna Steward, Max, Margo, and Mabel Brown, as well as a multitude of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Eugene and Wanda Fay Steward.

A memorial service will be held on March 7, 2026, at Lakeside Baptist Church, 1291 Kaufman Rd, Canton. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., followed by the service at 3 p.m..

The family invites attendees to wear attire that celebrates Keith and his passions, instead of traditional black.
