A celebration of life for Douglas Wayne Hollcroft, 64, of Canton, was held on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at Eubank Funeral Home, Bro. Hugh Roberts and Bro. Jerry Weems officiating.

Doug went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 9, 2022, in Canton. He was born on Sept. 26, 1958, in Ft. Worth, to Carroll Winston Hollcroft and Evelyn Carlson Hollcroft.

Doug grew up in Ft. Worth and was proud of his service to his country in the Air Force and then for the VA Hospital. This wonderful man never met a stranger. He was a loving and caring person, who loved life. On Aug. 23, 2008, he married the love of his life, Vicky Usry Hollcroft. Their devotion to each other could be seen as they still walked hand in hand after 15 years and did everything together.

Doug was a good and faithful Christian. He was an active member of Clearview Bible Church and spent time working with the youth. Doug was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, spreading God’s word on the back of his Harley, along with Vicky. Doug was a man who could fix anything and was quick to lend friends and family a hand no matter the project. Doug loved his Lord, family, and friends. This bigger than life man will be missed but will live on in the memories and hearts of all that knew and loved him.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Evelyn Hollcroft, and his sweet Aunt Gladys He is survived by his beloved wife, Vicky Usry Hollcroft; children, Abigail Claus; Daniel and Carmela Hollcroft; Dalton Hollcroft; Bobby Slagle and Callie Putman; Tyler Robertson and Micah Kelley; grandchildren, Samantha; Lydia; Connor; Quinn Rose, and Izzy; siblings, Chad and Dianna Hollcroft, and Edward Hollcroft, along with many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
