1997 – 2023

Haley Hernandez, 26, of Canton joined the angels in Heaven on Dec. 13, 2023.

Haley was born on Sept.1, 1997, to Gregorio Hernandez and Lenor Guerrero. She met the love of her life, her husband, in 2015. Haley attended Canton High School where she graduated in 2016.

Haley worked in the food service industry for many years, most recently at the Canton Junior High School cafeteria. Her hobbies included: attending her brother’s and nephews’ sporting events (cheering them on the loudest), spending time with family, going to casinos and traveling.

Haley is survived by her husband, Kaylin Thomas, of Lancaster; mother and step-father, Lenor and Shorty Guerrero, of Canton; father, Gregorio Hernandez, of Canton; grandfather, Estevan Carrizales; sister and brother-in-law, Christie Carrizales and Carmelo Rivera; brother and sister-in-law, Monkey and Lexi Guerrero, of Edgewood; brother, Jose Guerrero; five nephews: Bryan, Nathan, Logan, Zachary, Travis Carter; one niece, Akira, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Haley was welcomed home with open arms by her Grandma; Carol Carrizales and her Nana; Wanza Tanner; grandfather, Arcadio Hernández; great grandfathers: Rutilo Hernandez and Pablo Estrada; great grandmothers: Gillermina Costonda and Benita Beltran. Haley’s captivating smile and embracing heart will be missed by all who knew her.
