October 23, 1968 -January 24, 2024

James Alexander ‘Alex’ Mosley, a long-time resident of Canton and Athens, passed away on January 24, 2025, in Athens.

Alex was born in Terrell on October 23, 1968, to Vickie Lawhowne and Donny Ray Mosley. Alex spent most of his life in North /East Texas working as a Master Plumber, hunting, fishing, and spoiling his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Tracie Shipman Mosley; children: Bradlee Mosley, Garret Lamay, and Lindsie Horn; brothers; Lonnie Ray Mosley, Brian Crowsey, Keith Crowsey, and Troy Crowsey; Mother, Vickie Lawhorne, and Stepmother, Geri Mosley; numerous grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other beloved family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donny Ray Mosley.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 8, 2025, at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 17897 FM 1255, Canton.
