Paul (PJ) John Walukas III was born July 3, 1983, in Kaufman, Texas, to Paul John Walukas, Jr. and Lisa Diane Turner Gavin. He passed away June 28, 2022, in El Paso County, Texas.

PJ grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton High School in 2001. PJ enjoyed working as a forklift operator for Sam’s Distribution Center in Sanger, Texas, where he achieved or exceeded high productivity records on a regular basis. He enjoyed doting on his nephews, Audie and Asher Fain, always finding the best gifts for their birthdays and holidays. As an aspiring chef, he prepared many delicious meals and dishes for family. Being the firstborn grandchild, he held a special place in the hearts of his grandparents, Gerald and Roni Turner. He and his granddad were often inseparable. He had a way of making friends and family laugh with his quick wit and quirky sense of humor. He was also a talented artist and created various forms of art that will be treasured by his family for years to come. He was deeply loved by his friends and family.

PJ is survived by his father, Paul and Julie Walukas; mother, Lisa and William Gavin; brother, Cameron and Emily Lovette; brother-in-law, Ben Fain; nephews, Audie and Asher Fain; grandparents, Gerald and Roni Turner; grandparents, Houston and Jeani Garvin; and grandmother, Ann Kimbrough along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

PJ Is preceded in death by his sister, Adrian Walukas Fain; grandparents, Paul and Eleanor Walukas; grandfather, Billy Kimbrough; uncle, George Richardson and aunt, Sue House.
