A funeral service for Sheryl Williamson, 83, of Canton, was held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at Eubank Funeral Home, with Brother Mike Roberson officiating.

Sheryl passed away peacefully on Oct. 18, 2022, in Tyler. She was born on Dec. 7, 1938, in Van Zandt County to William Floyd Stout and Eunice Irene Stout.

Sheryl was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Canton. She was always involved in church activities and loved working in the children’s church and nursery. She was a faithful servant of God. She found enjoyment in quilting, crafting, cooking, and gardening. You could often find her outdoors enjoying her beautiful flowers and plants. Sheryl and her husband, Joe looked forward to their many sightseeing journeys across the country. Her deepest pleasure in life was time spent with family and friends. Sheryl will live on in the hearts and memories of all with whom she knew and loved.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Williamson, Jr.; daughter, Darlene Jackson; grandsons, David Fletcher and Todd Fletcher; sisters, Marguerite Beal and Doris Burns, and brother, Gilbert Stout.

Sheryl is survived by her daughters, Sherry and her husband, Don Clark; Renni and her husband, Dean Whitman; granddaughters, Michelle Phillips; Angela Jackson, and Debra Sugg; grandsons, Toby Graff; Chris Clark; Marc Graff, and Don Clark; 18 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; sister-inlaw, Katie Stout, and nieces and nephews.

Interment is at Haven of Memories in Canton.
