Repair work begins on awning

Body Work began Aug. 1 on tearing down the awning in front of the Canton Herald office on the south side of the downtown square. The awning was damaged in a windstorm that blew through the downtown area several weeks ago. A new awning is being installed in front of the building.

Body In the July 21 issue of the Canton Herald, the Canton Police blotter was published with an incorrect heading of arrests. Leann Coats, 58, Wills Point,was accused by an individual. She was not arrested and her case was closed by officials. Haley D.

Great Outdoors Expo held

Body Rock Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro, Texas hosted the God and the Great Outdoors Expo on July 29-30. It was the second year for the church to host the event and it was another success. Kids lined up on Saturday to be the first to enter and receive a free fishing pole.
