Van Zandt Newspapers LLC welcomes all candidates who have signed up to run for a Van Zandt County or a statewide office in the upcoming March 3, 2026, Primary Election to submit a FREE announcement and a photo for publication. The announcements, not to exceed 500 words, and the photos will run FREE one time each in the Van Zandt News and in the Canton Herald prior to the start of the Early Voting period which is scheduled for Feb. 17-27. Election Day is Tuesday, March 3.
