Canton Main Street Program Manager Preparations are continuing for two major Christmas activities in downtown Canton including the Christmas Sip N’ Dip Thursday, Dec. 11, and The Hard Candy Christmas Parade and Festival on Saturday, Dec. 13.

On Thanksgiving Day, as families across the area gathered to celebrate, the Whitton Volunteer Fire Department and other fire departments were called into action to combat a fire that ultimately consumed over 100 acres.
