In response to growing community speculation surrounding the division of the City of Canton and Lewis’ First Monday property, Canton City Manager Lonny Cluck has provided clarification and reassurance. Contrary to rumors, there will be no imposing brick wall or ten-foot fence separating the properties, according to Cluck.

Tyler Junior College recognized 1,487 students named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists for their academic excellence during the Spring 2024 semester. The president’s list consists of 553 students who completed a minimum of 12 hours of college-level courses with a 4.0 grade-point average.

Gooden announces Town Hall Meeting

VZC Texas A&M Club hosting ‘Howdy Party’ July 13

The Van Zandt County Texas A&M Club will be celebrating recent graduates of Texas A&M University as well as the many graduates of VZC high schools that will be attending Texas A&M in the fall with a ‘Howdy Party’ from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Van Zandt Country Club located at 17960 I-20 Frontage Road in Canton.
