Canton crews are scheduled to mill and inlay on SH 64 between FM 1504 and US 80. Crews will then move to FM 751. Work will be done from FM 47 to the Hunt County line. Motorists should expect lane closures with flaggers controlling traffic.

Peyton Chandler competes at State Cross Country Meet

Peyton Chandler of the Canton High School Running Eagles competed in the State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock on Saturday, November 1. Peyton finished 23rd out of 152 runners in a time of 16:23. “Before the race he had set a goal of being under 16:30 and he went out and broke that goal easily,” said CHS Cross Country Coach Marta Morgan. “Thank you to all the fans and supporters who have cheered not only for Peyton but the entire Running Eagles team this entire season.”
