A funeral service was held for Roger Dale Bateman, Sr., 73, of Canton, on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Eubank Funeral Home, with Max Callahan officiating. Roger passed away peacefully surrounded by family, after battling cancer for two years, September 5, 2022.

Services for Debbie Warner Carnes “Noni”, 70, of Grand Saline, were held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Cody Mize officiating.

Betty Love Powers, 88, of Canton, formerly of Paris, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, in Canton. Bright-Holland Funeral Home held services on Monday, Aug.

David Wayne Barnett, 32, of Canton, passed away on August 12, 2022. David worked as a carpenter, lawn service and tree trimmer; you name it, he would do it! David was an entertainer and loved to make people smile, and he will be dearly missed and always remembered.

1946-2022 Paul Edward Irwin, 76, peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, August 13, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born on May 2, 1946, in the Bethlehem Community near Wills Point.

Carolyn Jay McCondichie Grinstead was born on May 13, 1939 and entered heaven’s gates on August 5, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held on September 3, 2022, at 3 p.m.

Dr. Walter Warn Bingham passed away on the evening of August 3, 2022, at Canton Oaks Nursing Home at the age of 85. He is survived by his brother, Jim Bingham of Bonham, Texas; daughter, Kym Phillips (Don) of Canton, and son, Blake Bingham (Tammi) of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Walter had six grandchildren – Page Cherry; Kyle Phillips; Meagan McCormick; Erin Bingham; Garrett Bingham, and Morgan Bingham; four great-grandchildren – Landry Hopkins; Olivia Hopkins; Charlie Phillips, and Crew Phillips. He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 60 years, Regina McWilliams Bingham.

Services were held for Tommy Barton on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Hilliard Funeral Home. A graveside service was held at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Visitation was held on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
