Eagle boys’ track team wins Blue Bird Relays in WP

Body The Canton Eagles boys’ varsity track team captured first place March 8 at the Blue Bird Relays in Wills Point. Canton finished the track meet with 105 total points followed by the host school and Van Zandt County rival, Wills Point, with 101 points.

Eagles end basketball season with loss to Sanger

Body The opportunity to advance in the Class 3A state basketball playoffs did not happen for the Canton Eagles Feb. 25 as they lost their third-round game to Sanger, 44-36, in Farmersville ending Canton’s season with an 18-18 overall record.
