Body Canton Eagle Head Football Coach Heath Ragle and his coaching staff welcomed approximately 115 high school players, including around 45 freshmen, Aug. 4 for the opening day of fall football practice. The Eagles will be hosting Kaufman in a pre-season scrimmage Aug. 15.

Body The annual Canton Lions Club/Canton ISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament was declared a success April 28 by tournament organizers as around 35 teams participated in the event. Around $25,000 was raised that will be split among the two local organizations.
