Van Zandt County Judge Andy Reese announced that that VZC will be conducting a hand count of actual ballots starting at 8:30 a.m. Friday Sept.

In what is believed to be the final step in the process, the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court voted 3-2 during their regular meeting Aug. 30 to approve a master agreement with Hart Intercivic of Austin for new voting equipment that will be ready to use in time for the Nov. 7 election this year.
