TOM DUKE Member of the Republican Club of Van Zandt County A new chapter in the long-running debate over religion in public schools is unfolding in East Texas. Recently, the Republican Club of Van Zandt County has presented posters of the Ten Commandments to all seven ISD boards in VZC.

New street signs installed

New website announced during council meeting

The Canton City Council convened on Aug. 19 with a strong community presence and a focus on important local issues. The evening began with an invocation led by Pastor Mark Robinson from Crossroads Church, who called for unity and wisdom among the council members and community leaders.
