Multiple people indicted in deadly truck crash

A truck driver at the wheel that killed five people on I-20 near Terrell was indicted on multiple charges by a Kaufman County grand jury this past week. A company official for the trucking company, Hope Trans, was also indicted for felony forgery.

Nextlink to bring new fiber broadband service to Canton

Nextlink Internet announced recently that construction has begun on a new state-of-the-art fiber network in Canton. When construction is completed, Nextlink will have deployed fiber broadband at data speeds up to symmetrical two gigabits per second (Gbps) to over 2,000 homes and businesses in Canton.
