Prior to their Thanksgiving weekend holiday break, the Canton Eagle varsity basketball team split two non-district contests on back-to-back days. Canton outlasted Paris Chism, 52-47, at home Nov.

An incredible 2024 season for the Canton Eagle varsity football team came to a disappointing conclusion Nov. 15 at the hands of the Farmersville Farmers in the Class 4A, Division 2 bi-district round of the state playoffs, 27-0, in Garland.
