The Canton Eaglettes had a rather quiet slate compared to week’s past, hosting two home matchups on Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Friday, Dec. 9. Canton would go on to win both, improving their overall record to 14-2 on the season.

The Canton Eaglettes capped off another winning week with a second-place finish in the 18th annual Winnsboro Hoopfest Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 3. Overall, the Eaglettes went 5-1 on the week, with wins over Saltillo, Whitehouse, Malakoff, Mount Pleasant (Chapel Hill), and Edgewood, and their only loss coming in the championship game to the hosting Winnsboro Lady Raiders.

Entering the week at 3-0 after the first week of regular season action, the Eagles returned to Canton to host their first home matchup of the year against the Kaufman Lions on Nov.
