Eagles remain undefeated following dominating win at WP

Body Dealing out almost a year’s worth of frustrations on their opponent last Friday night, the undefeated Canton Eagles got their revenge in impressive style Oct. 17 as they blew past their Van Zandt County rival, the Wills Point Tigers, 63-7, at Ken Autry Davis Field.

Eagles swat Kemp in district opener to remain undefeated, 63-0

Body Any thought of the undefeated Canton Eagles being distracted during Homecoming week in preparations for their Oct. 10 game against the Kemp Yellowjackets were quickly put away as the Eagles dominated Kemp, 63-0, in the District 6-4A, Division 2, opener at Norris Birdwell Stadium.

Running Eagles competed at Lindale Invitational Oct. 2

Body The Canton Running Eagles ran at the Lindale Invitational on Thursday, Oct. 2. The varsity girls finished sixth overall out of 24 teams and were led by senior Kate Wallis with a time of 13:45 for 23rd place out of a field of 220 runners.

Running Eagles hosted own invitational Sept. 25

Body The Canton High School Running Eagles hosted their own invitational on Sept. 25 with over 25 schools in attendance. Peyton Chandler continued his impressive performances finishing sixth overall in a very competitive field with a time of 16:39.
