Body A near capacity crowd was on hand July 7 at the Van Zandt Country Club in Canton to witness a special swearing-in ceremony for the VZC Republican Party Precinct Chairs.

Body A special program was held June 14 to celebrate Flag Day and the United States Army’s 251st birthday. The ceremony was held at the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial in Canton. The week of June 14-20 has been declared as National Flag Week in the United States.

Body The Van Zandt County Fair Junior Livestock Market Auction was held Friday, April 3, during the VZC Fair at the VZC Fairgrounds in Canton. Proceeds went to FFA and 4-H exhibitors.
