VZC Fair and Rodeo continues through Saturday

The 2026 Van Zandt County Fair and Rodeo began March 28 and continues through Saturday, April 4 at the VZC Fairgrounds located on State Highway 64 near the State Highway 243 intersection in Canton. Admittance to the grounds is $5.00 per car or $1.00 per walk-in.

Three April resolutions approved by commissioners

Three resolutions for the month of April were unanimously approved by the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court during its regular meeting March 25. The resolutions addressed Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Child Abuse and Neglect Awareness Month, and Fair Housing Month.
