Pizza Hut employee receives surprise proclamation

Body Pizza Hut of Canton employee Dorothy Baker received a surprise on her 30-year anniversary at the business when she was presented with a proclamation by Canton Mayor Lou Ann Everett who declared Monday, Feb. 3 as ‘Dorothy Baker Day’ in Canton.

AARP Driver Safety Course to be offered Feb. 20

Body The AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) Driver Safety Program and the Van Zandt County/Sarah Norman Library located at 317 First Monday Lane in Canton are sponsoring a driver safety class on Thursday, Feb. 20 from noon to 5 p.m.
