EDITOR’s NOTE: This is the third in a series of articles regarding the recent Van Zandt Country Agricultural Bus Tour hosted by the Van Zandt County Farm Bureau. On September 13, 2024, the Van Zandt County Farm Bureau organized an enlightening tour of three major agricultural enterprises, highlighting the county’s most significant commodity producers.

The Texas Star Quilters Guild, a nonprofit organization located in Canton, is holding its annual Quilt Show at the Canton Civic Center on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. each day. Admission is $5.00 and children under 12 years of age are admitted free.

The 23rd Annual Autumn Festival, featuring music, food, and fun, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m.
