Quilt Show scheduled for Oct. 18, 19 in Canton

The Texas Star Quilters Guild, a nonprofit organization located in Canton, is holding its annual Quilt Show at the Canton Civic Center on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. each day. Admission is $5.00 and children under 12 years of age are admitted free.

davidb@vanzandtnews.com Three members of the 1964 Canton High School football team shared memories of a remarkable team accomplishment Sept. 25 during the regular weekly luncheon of the Canton Lions Club at the Van Zandt Country Club.
