The Republican Club of Van Zandt will be hosting a rally for U.S. Presidential Candidate Donald Trump and U.S. Senator Incumbent Candidate Ted Cruz on the State Highway 19 overpass at Interstate 20 in Canton from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

A proclamation recognizing the week of Oct. 6 as 2024 National 4-H Week was unanimously approved by the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court during its regular meeting Sept. 25. VZC Judge Andy Reese read the proclamation to those in attendance.
