Possible UIL soccer program for CHS discussed

A standing room crowd was on hand at the Canton ISD Administration Building March 16 as the topic of a potential University Interscholastic League (UIL) soccer program for Canton High School was presented during the regular monthly meeting of the Canton School Board.

The group was requesting that the board consider adding soccer to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) varsity sports schedule at Canton High School. Chamber Gala tickets on sale through March 27

Tables and individual tickets remain on sale through Friday, March 27 for the Annual Canton Texas Chamber of Commerce Community Awards Gala scheduled for Saturday, April 11, at the Canton Civic Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m.

The Canton Texas Chamber of Commerce hosted a successful Meet and Mingle event March 3 at Jerry’s Pizza, bringing together local businesses and residents for an evening of networking and delicious food.
