Body The Canton Eaglettes improved upon their already stellar 15-4 record this week, winning both scheduled contests to improve to 17-4. Canton would open the week with a Wednesday matinee on the road against Henderson.

Scorching Eagles deal two blowouts

Body The Canton Eagles added two more impressive victories to their name this past week, besting Mabank and Wills Point on their way to a 13-1 season record. Canton entered the week on a three-game winning streak, hosting familiar foe Mabank for an afternoon bout on Tuesday, March 14.

Season ends for Eagle lifters

Body Lifters representing Van Zandt County’s three largest school districts, Canton, Van and Wills Point, made their way to Arp March 10 to compete for a chance to advance to the Class 4A State Powerlifting Meet.

Eagles surge through tournament play

Body The Canton Eagles continued their strong kickstart to the 2023 season this past weekend, finishing 3-1 in the annual Canton Tournament to improve their overall record to 11-1.

Eaglette= softball moves to 15-4

Body The Canton Eaglettes got back in action this past week with matchups against Prairiland, Athens, and Bullard over a six-day span. Canton would down Prariland on Saturday, March 4 behind the arm of Jaycee Bullard.

Eaglettes move to 14-3 on season

Body After opening their season on a seven-game winning streak, the Canton Eaglettes went 7-3 over the past week to move their overall record to 10-3 in the young 2023 campaign. The Eaglettes would return home following the Wimberly Tournament, falling to White Oak on Feb.

Eaglette lifters compete at Regionals

Body Lifters representing Van Zandt County’s three largest school districts, Canton, Van and Wills Point, made their way to Eustace High School March 4 to compete for a chance to advance to the Class 4A State Powerlifting Meet.

Eagles baseball races to 8-0 start

Body The Canton Eagles baseball program, which has seen its fair share of success in recent years, tore out of the gates in dominant fashion to open their 2023 campaign, to the tune of a blemish- free 8-0 record.
