The Wallace Methodist Church in Canton will be hosting their Annual Pie Auction at the church Saturday, Nov. 19.

The Isaiah 40:31 Foundation will be holding their annual fun-run 5k to raise funds for two local families that are in need on Saturday, Nov, 11 at Twin Lakes Nursery LTD. The race begins at 8 a.m.

Over 1,900 Early Votes have been cast as of the end of the business day Oct. 30 for the Nov. 7 General Election, according to the Van Zandt County Clerk’s office. The day-by-day breakdown since Early Voting began has been as follows: Oct. 23, 248 votes cast; Oct. 24, 305; Oct. 25, 338; Oct. 26, 298; Oct. 27, 407; and Oct. 30, 338. The total number of votes cast as of the end of the day Oct. 30 was 1,934. Early Voting for the Nov. 7 General Election continues through Friday, Nov. 3.
