With the frigid weather a couple of weeks ago, it’s hard to believe spring turkey season is only a month away. We were all dressed like Eskimos but true to the nature of Texas weather, we were in shirt sleeves a few days ago.

State sales tax revenue totaled $3.8 Billion in Feb.

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said March 3 that state sales tax revenue totaled $3.8 billion in February, 4.3 percent more than in February 2024. The majority of February sales tax revenue is based on sales made in January and remitted to the agency in February.
