Decision on purchase of Paul Michael building tabled

During its regular meeting June 18, the Van Zandt County Commissioners’ Court tabled a decision regarding the purchase of the Paul Michael building. The Paul Michael building is located at 1930 North Trade Days Blvd.

Thompson Field hosts successful TACAS Scholarship Award Ceremony

The TACAS (Tailwind Airpark Community Aviation Scholarship) Award Ceremony took place under sunny skies at Thompson Field June 7, an airport located just four miles north of Canton (690 VZCR 3119) known for its welcoming atmosphere and community spirit.

Scholarship winners announced at the Tailwind Airpark Community Aviation Scholarship (TACAS) Awards Ceremony included Ronald Buie, Katherine Burns, and Elizabeth Loghry.
