The Van Zandt County Genealogical Society will have its regular meeting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, at the VZC/Sarah Norman Library located at 317 First Monday Lane in Canton.

The Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) is investing in careers that help build communities and agriculture through scholarships at Texas State Technical College (TSTC). Each year, TFB makes scholarship funds available to first year and enrolled students attending TSTC.

The Republican Club of Van Zandt County has announced that tickets are available now for the club’s ‘MAGA GALA’ event scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Victory Life Church located at 16040 State Highway 64 in Ben Wheeler.

The sign-up period for candidates to file in the mayor’s race, the city council, or the school board election continues through Friday, Feb. 14.
