Eagles stay alive for potential playoff berth

Body A dominating running game and an opportunistic defense were an unbeatable combination for the Canton Eagles Oct. 20 as they closed out their home season schedule with an impressive 34-20 victory over the Brownsboro Bears on ‘Senior Night’ at Norris Birdwell Stadium.

Eagles fall to 0-2 in district play

Body Hoping to bounce back from their district-opening loss on Homecoming night against Center, the Canton Eagles traveled to Mal Fowler Field at Van’s Memorial Stadium Sept. 29 for a meeting against their Van Zandt County rival, the Van Vandals.

Eaglettes’ golf team capture Whitestone Invitational

Body The Canton Eaglettes’ golf team competed Sept. 26 at the Whitestone Invitational at the Whitestone Golf Club in Benbrook and came home in first place by 40 shots over several Dallas-Fort Worth schools including Stephenville, Abilene High and Benbrook.
